The most concerning situation regarding family history is when multiple family members (especially first-degree relatives: parents and full siblings) develop early onset dementia that progresses rapidly.

	12:18pm Dean: I've mentioned before that on Ornette's birthday this year the memory/dementia wing of the senior living facility where my mom resides played Shape of Jazz to Come for the residents. From my perspective -- no clinical controls, etc. -- it didn't hurt!

	2:53pm northguineahills: When I was 6, I went to Vacation Bible School, and played percussion. I had a conversation w/ the music teacher about Carl Orff, and then went to the library to find a book on him and his teaching system. Still amazed I had friends during the summer as a kid...
