On the whole is the uniqueness of this that I find beguiling - a kind of Hard Rawk that didn't codify into Metal like most over here ...& the distinct approach to Rhythm & Melody from this region.What a treat !

	8:49pm sispus: rakı has a special oil extraccted from anise (anason). the anise is added at the last distillation of the grape alcohol. for ouzo and other beverages, the extraxcts or oils added to the distilled alcohol, mean, they don't involve the distillation process. and anise has a very special flavour that you cannot use other aromas with it. anise is very very sharp.
	8:50pm LambdaCalculus: sispus, I drink anise... Spanish heritage so it's a natural for us. :)
	8:50pm Gary: I had no raki while I was there -- a mistake. But I did have a lotta Bomonti beer

	8:49pm sispus: rakı has a special oil extraccted from anise (anason). the anise is added at the last distillation of the grape alcohol. for ouzo and other beverages, the extraxcts or oils added to the distilled alcohol, mean, they don't involve the distillation process. and anise has a very special flavour that you cannot use other aromas with it. anise is very very sharp.
