Confession: based on last week's discussion of Ginger Baker, I watched the entirety of the documentary about him and retract all of my previous statements. Brilliant drummer, cool experiences and, though flawed, a figure deserving of our sympathy. (unless you are one of his children and/or former spouses)

Just sayin

@coelacanth Fair question. Just really trying to have an open mind. Very likely wouldn't go, but when there's an opportunity to see a legend, I always consider it to see if there's something beyond my my limited view that would change my opinion. It extends beyond music as well. Never thought I'd enjoy attending a lacrosse game or NASCAR race, but now that I have I found I'd rather go to either than a baseball game

right on Phillippe. i've never seen the 'stones - one of my favorite bands ...through goats head soup. legends, but my first opportunity to see them was in the early 80s. $200. tickets and i really didn't care to see them at all. they sucked by then. i actually got shit from a coworker for not caring!

...then again i once went to a monster truck show in philly in the height of a rivalry between a ny ball team and the phillies because a friend, who was as not interested in such things as i, was given 4 tickets. it was fairly amusing!
