Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from September 27, 2019 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

bowing a long wire attached to a Chinese gong, allowing for special control of the irrational vibrations of the metal plate through careful control over the tension of the wire and place and style of bowing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24pm
Phillippe Bastille:

oh, Bryce...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm
steveo:

The most common bowing has a very sharp angle, usually 30 degrees, with a smooth motion from front to back. In this style of bowing the plate is placed on a stand or a small table and a small hole is drilled in the plate that provides an opening to allow water vapor to escape. The vapor will rise up, cool, condense on the metal face of the plate, and condense again on a different plate facing opposite. The liquid will then condense into a droplet, which will cool, evaporate, and fall off to rain outside or on the roof or street. The water vapor is collected in a tube or a glass glass container, leaving in it a little bit of dust. The moisture in the droplet can be stored in a glass container outside for several days after it has cooled to remove it from the air.

Hi from Holland:

We had three days (repeated several times) of Stockhausen in Amsterdam this summer during the Holland Festival playing a very large section of Licht - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Licht - https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/24/arts/music/stockhausen-aus-licht-amsterdam.html - a movie is currently in production if I'm not mistaken. Also Actress X premiered a special "Stockhausen SIN {X} II" production.

@Ike, @PB - look up "ginger bug" on YouTube (or elsewhere) - it is just grated ginger, sugar, water and feed it a spoon full of sugar each day and use that to make your own ginger beer - you can make it as strong/sweet as you like - I prefer it "make my eyes water" strong - cures what ales you for sure :)
