Scored that Von LMO disc in '97 while living in Tucson -- worked a block from legendary Toxic Ranch rekkids (RIP). Much of my minimum-wage earnings disappeared in there.

tmtealium:

Let me say something about bandcamp. They are beginning to get ridiculous. Once upon a time they were reasonable with prices. But now they are charging the same amount for some stuff as psychical product. I even saw a download for over $1000 last week.
  3:40pm
John from Florham park:

@timrealium ouch with band camp
  3:40pm
David in London:

I hope you are wearing your monocle now Creamo. Standards have to be adhered to after all...
  3:41pm
tmtealium:

I bet the album was crap
Avatar 3:41pm
Creamo Coyl:

All artists on bandcamp set there own prices.

The $1000 is cheeky and also so people won't donwload it, and maybe buy the product. It's a joke with a purpose.
But the artists set the prices, bandcamp doesn't have anything to do with that.
  3:42pm
tmtealium:

I don't want to buy CDs anymore. FLAC is just fine.
  3:42pm
tmtealium:

but i hear you
Avatar 3:47pm

@ tmtealium - i've noticed that Bandcamp digital releases have been crawling up a buck or two (from 7 currency units to 8-10 units) but still pretty reasonable i think.

my first comment was posted incomplete. weird, I guess the dumb emojis caused that. what I said there was the amount of finnish stuff played tonight is higher than usual, no complaints there. as I am a Finn myself, should check out Musta. I am not a huge fan of Hefty Load even if the late great Jyri Honkavaara (of Ratsia fame) was a member. Did not sing on that track at least.
