	7:08am Franco Twinkie: One time a former member of the band and I had a job driving a truck containing the set of a Taco Bell commercial from L.A. to Tuscon. This road trip also coincided with a show at The Club Congress where said former member was playing a set along with Giant Sand. For various reasons we were running late. At a truck stop in the middle of the Arizona desert former member called the club and found out he was going on earlier that he thought. We were still about a hundred miles from Tuscon. He drove the rest of the way at top speed. We were doing 90 miles an hour on the freeway through Phoenix. I looked at the speedometer! We got to the club and he jumped out of the truck, holding his guitar, ran inside, jumped up on the stage with Giant Sand and started playing like he never left the band.

	7:08am Franco Twinkie: One time a former member of the band and I had a job driving a truck containing the set of a Taco Bell commercial from L.A. to Tuscon. This road trip also coincided with a show at The Club Congress where said former member was playing a set along with Giant Sand. For various reasons we were running late. At a truck stop in the middle of the Arizona desert former member called the club and found out he was going on earlier that he thought. We were still about a hundred miles from Tuscon. He drove the rest of the way at top speed. We were doing 90 miles an hour on the freeway through Phoenix. I looked at the speedometer! We got to the club and he jumped out of the truck, holding his guitar, ran inside, jumped up on the stage with Giant Sand and started playing like he never left the band.
