	10:16pm Erica: I read that she died in 1974. I could be wrong. They said she choked on a chicken bone or of eating a ham sandwich but it was a heart attack.

	10:19pm Franco Twinkie: The Trip sound track used Flash,Bang,Pow by The Electric Flag for that scene where Peter Fonda is running thru Laural Canyon blazing on acid. It is such an effective piece of music for conveying terror, that it was used in Easy Rider to set you up for spectacular ending.

	10:20pm Dean: I, too, recall the Mama Cass stories. Then and now it remains a great loss. I respected her in ways it would take many years for me to understand. But "fake news," right? It's a Trump thing?

	10:47pm Dean: I have tried in recent years to find LA radio broadcasts, AM, I believe, to which I used to listen during the '90s. It was a call-in show hosted by a fellow named Brother Paul, who fielded callers' laments and questions about their lives and circumstances, and answered with bland religious observations. Would love to hear it again. Musical highlight was the theme song, which was Loggins & Messina's "Peace of Mind," a very nice tune.

	10:52pm Funky16Corners: There used to be a late night radio show in NYC during the 70s that was kind of like that, with an ex-Catholic priest
	10:53pm Franco Twinkie: The only problem with KBLA is the signal was so weak, you could only hear it if you were driving around in the San Fernando Valley.

	11:08pm Franco Twinkie: All the best rock stations were in Pasadena: KRLA, KPPC, and later KROQ. Pasadena was weirdo/hippie central in the SGV.

	11:17pm Franco Twinkie: Oh Larry, there are some real good ones. There still funny! I use to see them at the Ashgrove when I was in high school, which I could get into because they only served coffee, tea and apple cider.

	11:19pm doctorjazzI: WMCA was an earlier source, more early to mid 60s for me (Home of the Good Guys).

Had to content myself with 2 boxes of stuff stuff (my wife was going to kill me, wasn't happy with the small haul). I connected him with FMU, Matt picked up all the rest for the station.

It was a call-in show hosted by a fellow named Brother Paul, who fielded callers' laments and questions about their lives and circumstances, and answered with bland religious observations. Would love to hear it again. Musical highlight was the theme song, which was Loggins & Messina's "Peace of Mind," a very nice tune.
