NYC helped me learn Yiddish. I use Yiddish idioms and exclamations all the time, and no one has a clue of what I'm talking about down here. (so, I revert to Mexi mode, and maybe once in a blue moon, someone will recognize what slang I'm using).

tip of the day: when moving a queen sized mattress by yourself, don't allow it to fell you onto the turntable on the floor. Thankfully, the turntable is ok, my back, not so much.

I think it's ironic I fell on a turntable being a dj, and it remained unscathed, yet, I'm so bruised....it took me about 10 mins to squirrel out under the mattress (other clutter fell on me). Fun day!

@TDK: I had the some ordeal 3 years ago, and it wasn't until I found one on my wife and took a pic that we solved our itchiness. Thankfully, landlords in NYC have to eradicate them, still, the extreme measures we took afterwards were a PITA. Out neighbors also got them as well, fun times!
