Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from June 28, 2019 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

There should be a Bryce app for the phone where you put various marbles into the blender, then choose different speeds and see what kinds of sounds you get.

matmos keep it on theme in describing one old recording: “it sounded like Rahsaan Roland Kirk records being played backwards in a blender.” www.emusician.com...

OK, so they put NIN, Chick Webb, The Nurse and Cpt Kirk in a blender...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

@Ike - A more ambitious app would be one where you select a DJ and different activities ensue. For Bryce, you get the blender; for Carol, pick a song and movie dialog; Jeff Conklin, a GD track and how many hours you want it to last; etc.
Avatar 1:13pm

@KFHP, ha ha ha, you picked that third one to rile me up, didn't you? The only thing that's almost as lame as Don Felder is a bad hour-long Dead boot with any amount of Jerry Garcia's inane caterwauling. (Admittedly some of the better ones are tolerable though.) As with Garbage Time, it was weird how the rest of that show was always excellent but it just had this one single rotten, malodorous pit at the center of the mouthwatering fruit.

My (pretty cheap) 20th century Boss drum machines could do any ol' time signatures by dropping steps from the 16-grid, with more complicated possibilities by chaining patterns, but yeah, in the 21st century it's pretty much all square-dance, all the time. Promenade left, swing your partner....
