You can say that again, @chresti. I'm preparing to move my mother from Southern California to a senior living site near me. For a 91YO, she is doing relatively well, "high functioning," as a geriatric specialist once remarked to me. Still, cognition and memory decline, sometimes gradually, sometimes precipitously, and sometimes the results are not heartbreaking, but hilarious. For instance, not long ago she referred to my kids, Olivia and Sebastian, as Loretta and Sinbad. I mean, that's gold! | |
