"The Last Kiss album cover shows Wilson kneeling over the young woman portraying the dying girl. Supposedly, first printings of the cover showed blood trickling down the girl's face, but it was air-brushed out by the record company for fear that alienating parents would limit sales of the album."
Find this along with your "Butcher Album" covers!

Evidently Wilson actually was injured in a car wreck while touring that song, and died young and cheated out of his royalties!

Great show thanks Scott. Your photo brings back memories and it's nice to learn about the Dinker. I grew up with the small whole singles and there was a juke box repair shop in our neighbourhood where you could buy ex-jukebox singles really cheap. Being American jukeboxes they had the centre cut out like you show and with some short-titled records you sort of had to guess what they were. Still have lots of them. Cheers.

" "Sylvia's Mother" is autobiographical, with songwriter Shel Silverstein drawing upon his unsuccessful attempt to revive a failed relationship. Silverstein had been in love with a woman named Silvia Pandolfi, but she would later become engaged to another man and end up as a museum curator at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Mexico City. Desperate to continue the relationship, Silverstein called Pandolfi's mother, Louisa, but she instead told him that the love had ended."
