Which is crazy, since he'd probably be on the court for nearly 40 years. But if there's any justice today's developments will snowball into an avalanche.

	4:49pm Rob Kopp: Came home last night after a holiday and haven't been listening to news or watching TV at all. Today I have been looking in the newspapers of the last 2 weeks. I can fully understand most of you are upset about Kavanaugh vs Ford, but what hit ME most of the news of the last 2 weeks was an accident in Oss, NL where a bicycle with a teacher and 5 young children was hit by a train. 4 children died. I had to think about their parents. And then about my bonus daughter and her wife. I told you in January that I had become grandfather. Well, their son died after an operation, only 18 days old.

Leahy and Democratic staff on the SJC 2001-2003; (3) his background is absurdly partisan for a potential SC justice (from his hatchetman days as Ken Starr's whitebread Torquemada to being Bush's staff secretary) and his opening remarks and testimony evincing a clear partisan bias ("what goes around comes around", etc.); (4) offering questionable statements and outright lies about inconsequential matters (primarily about drinking but other areas as well) demonstrating he lacks character for truthfulness; and (5) oh yeah, HE ASSAULTED CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD.

Have been reading a lot on Ibiza and 2 books I can highly recommend: Solve for happy by Mo Gawdat (he lost a 21 year old son during an operation) and The choice by Edith Eva Eger (who survived Auschwitz). 2 very positive books.

I can fully understand most of you are upset about Kavanaugh vs Ford, but what hit ME most of the news of the last 2 weeks was an accident in Oss, NL where a bicycle with a teacher and 5 young children was hit by a train. 4 children died. I had to think about their parents. And then about my bonus daughter and her wife. I told you in January that I had become grandfather. Well, their son died after an operation, only 18 days old.

Leahy and Democratic staff on the SJC 2001-2003; (3) his background is absurdly partisan for a potential SC justice (from his hatchetman days as Ken Starr's whitebread Torquemada to being Bush's staff secretary) and his opening remarks and testimony evincing a clear partisan bias ("what goes around comes around", etc.); (4) offering questionable statements and outright lies about inconsequential matters (primarily about drinking but other areas as well) demonstrating he lacks character for truthfulness; and (5) oh yeah, HE ASSAULTED CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD.
