@crateslinger: When I was in Iceland, instead of taking a geyser tour like the other tourists, I decided to take a cultural and history tour. Besides my now wife, it was just two other people. It was amazing.

I know all towns in Sweden will have something similar. I would look for Sigtuna, the capital of the kingdom of sweden until in moved to stockholm around the 13th c. Have fun!

Having put 3 kids through college, my best advice is: Avoid debt when you can. State schools in NJ will give you a very good education. Name Brand schools (like most name brand things) are often not worth the investment.

In college I learned how to find, read, understand, summarize, synthesize, and clearly express large amounts of information in a short period of time. Didn't matter if it was Virginia Wolfe or the constitution of colonial Virginia. Has served me well all my life, in and out of work.

When I first went to college I remember a friend saying my handwritting was like a doctors, I took it as a complement, oblivious of what he was actually saying.

My father is a retired physician, I got my handwriting from him, but it's way worse. I can't even read my own handwriting half of the time. I tell myself if it's an artwork (I actually had friends seriously say that).

I was born w/o binocular vision. It impaired my manual dexterity development. I taught myself how to see out of both eyes and by age 18 in was automatic.
