It's Friday! What the hell. Order some Thai food for later and watch the parade of animals walk across the ceiling.
  12:54am
rw:

Ha! Sounds like fun. There's a parade of animals in my backyard too. Unfortunately I've got too many responsibilities at the moment. Maybe some day though...

No problem. Actually, I should keep my eye on the ball as well. One slip and I'm in the dog house.

It's nice being a grown up but it has it's drawbacks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05am

It's the never ending conflict. I've seen what happens when some people don't buckle down. Sad.

Today my son was complaining that his Spotify playlist had too much Cramps and Devo. I told him it could be worse.

sounds good on this end.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17am
Franco Twinkie:

Rw, I know it's hard for the kids to see it in perspective, but as you know when Devo first came on the scene there was nothing and I mean NOTHING like them. Same with the Cramps. Tell your son that both groups rose above the rest of the racket, and made your eyeballs fall out of your face.
  2:26am
rw:

FT, That's not the problem. He's a fan of both (and is wearing a Cramps T-Shirt right now). It's just that he doesn't have enough other stuff he likes to balance out the playlist. It's tough being a kid these days.

Franco Twinkie:

I wouldn't know. I'm a half-deaf, dottering old fool. But I do have a good memory.
  2:30am
rw:

But I agree! I have a friend who's 40 yrs old who complains about how every documentary about music now says the same thing, "You have to understand, there was nothing like this out there". I tell him, "But it's TRUE!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35am
Franco Twinkie:

I'm going to go out the same way I started - staying up late up late and searching for the stuff from other planets. It's an effort, but what is the alternative, sleep? BAH!

All the best stuff seems to happen late at night or very early in the morning. Not being a morning person I usually miss that part.
  2:40am

Actually I'm not really sure about the morning stuff. Not being awake and all. Just an educated guess.

Rich! Beautiful Carcass as always. Don't worry about the venting. It just seems to be that time of year.
