What's this genre of music called?
Avatar 12:21am
pcnyc:

Speed metal? Prog rock? Death something-or-other?
Avatar 12:22am
Bill Zebub:

There is no such thing as "speed metal" - anyone who uses that term is not a metal person. It was the name of a compilation, but never a genre.

sinister dexter:

metal! yes!

pcnyc:

Ok, so what would you call it, Bill? I like it...it's refreshing, like it reflects a purging. How about durge-purge metal then?
Avatar 12:40am
Bill Zebub:

I try to play music that takes a hybrid approach. Perhaps it is best to take each band as its own flavor. There will be some pure genres in my shows, but I try to feature the songs that go beyond one style.

pcnyc:

Ok, thank you for the explanation.
Relatedly, new Rammstein forthcoming! www.google.com...

I was wondering when there would be a new one. Thank you.

Well, it sounds like a slow-moving process, so don't pop the bubbly just yet.

Comment board is doing nicely so far this evening. If anyone exerts their right to say anything bad about the Prof. will have to deal with me.

i failed to find the perfect rhyme to couple with "anaphylactic"
