Windy was actually written about a girl who enjoyed performing oral sex, according to what one of the band members once said about the song

Ruthann Friedman wrote it. But...maybe...

I'm quite well this evening. Thinking about what the music from a band called The Foleys might sound like.

I should go and look up why the Foley guy is called that. Who was this "Foley" person, anyway?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59pm
Gaylord Fields:

Amanda! Now that you've played Dusty, I can de-lurk.

I've maintained that "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" is a crummy song but a great record entirely because of Dusty's majestic performance.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02pm
Uncle Michael:

When he was playing the role of Rowdy Yates...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:11pm
Amanda:

YES. Dusty completely owns that song, in every sense of the word.

Interesting how a show situated in Korea resonated totally because of a war that happened a decade later. People in this country are always very LATE on everything.

Chuck's tunes are great but his guitar is unequaled. !! just ask Keith R.

MASH was, indeed, great writing
  10:47pm
lothianman:

Weird how there were these subtle undertones about the costs of war that everyone embraced......but you put them out front and everyone is scared to publicly embrace what they just watched for years on television.....hint.......if you watch it continuously there is some agreement there whether you like it or not !!
  10:47pm
J:

I can't with this dirty needle on the scratchy Herb Alpert record though
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm

I love Alda like everyone else, but I gotta say on MASH he can be a little annoying. I prefer the episodes that focus on non-Hawkeye characters. I adore Radar.
