How do, Kim and all! Hope your Thanksgiving festivities were equal parts fun and restful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm
KimSorise:

Hey James! It was great and yes, festive as well as restful. Today was another story... but all around okay. Hope you all enjoyed your holiday! Welcome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm
listener james from westwood:

It was quiet and low key, as I had hoped!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm
KimSorise:

Mine was as well until Saturday when I DJ's 2 radio shows, a record release party, and then an after party until 4 am... That hurt a little, but at least I was well rested for it all.

Heddo!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm
KimSorise:

Oh jeez northguinea I, too, hope you get out of work before 8. Mondays post holiday are always a bit rough.
Welcome Uncle Michael!

Wyatt: welcome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm

Wyatt: Always welcome! <3

Nice Pentangle tune!

Traffic was such a nightmare yesterday, that the estimated drive time was twice of what it usually would be, so, I waited to leave my brother's until this morning, so, I didn't get to work until after lunch.

KimSorise:

I was really happy to finally get a copy of Solomon's Seal when I was in Cincinatti. There was an older gentleman from Athens, Ohio who had some amazing psych and folk LPs in stellar shape and reasonable.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm
listener james from westwood:

That is way more trippy than I'd have imagined for TJ, which testifies only to the paucity of my musical experience.
Avatar 8:01pm
northguineahills:

I like Flying Saucer Attack's cover of "Sally Free and Easy".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm
KimSorise:

WOW! Northguinea - I have several FSA Lp's and had no idea they covered that song. I just check the 5 LPs that I do have and it's not on any of them...
Avatar 8:05pm
northguineahills:

It came out as the Sally Free and Easy EP.

hello
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08pm
Uncle Michael:

James, it's a fairly safe bet that TJ produced no sound heard on that track. It's an instrumental and he can barely strum chords on a guitar with an open tuning.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm
KimSorise:

Hahaha, UM! Quite possibly.
Hey Coelcanth! Welcome.

EARLY Richard Thompson...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17pm

I always like what I hear from the Incredible String Band.

northguineahills:

Well, Can, Fairport, and ISB, must leave (finally finished), but you're making it hard. Thanks Kim!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:18pm
KimSorise:

I adore Richard Thompson - I'm good up to the early 80s - Small Town Romance
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm
KimSorise:

Safe journey home with little traffic hopefully - northguinea!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:36pm
listener james from westwood:

Thought that might be GSH!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm
listener james from westwood:

It's as much the instrumentation as his voice that helps me guess correctly. Distinct and excellent.
  8:38pm
Doctorjazz:

Still love Richard Thompson...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm
KimSorise:

My absolute favorite - GSH.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
KimSorise:

I just looked at Thompson's discography - the last LP I bought was Rumor and Sigh and I dug it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
KimSorise:

Nope, sorry - it was Grizzly Man OST 2005
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm
melinda:

I forgot that he did Grizzly Man. What a bizarre and sad tale.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm
KimSorise:

I know, it was, Melinda but mesmerizing in only a way that Herzog can do.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm
KimSorise:

Have a great week! Stay Tuned for Sam & If You Lose Your Horse.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
melinda:

@Kim agreed.
