	10:17am northguineahills: Cumbia rebajada started sort of like dj screw's cut and screwed hiphop mixes. In the early 80s, there was a cumbia outdoor party at the market in Monterrey, Mexico. The generators started to die and the turntables started to slow down. Cough syrup was the drug of choice, so the audience loved it. So first, rebajada mixes were made, then bands started making the music like that on purpose.

	10:17am northguineahills: Cumbia rebajada started sort of like dj screw's cut and screwed hiphop mixes. In the early 80s, there was a cumbia outdoor party at the market in Monterrey, Mexico. The generators started to die and the turntables started to slow down. Cough syrup was the drug of choice, so the audience loved it. So first, rebajada mixes were made, then bands started making the music like that on purpose.
