stupid american abbreviations is the topic
Avatar 12:41am
Bill Zebub:

The poem topic is "consuming the brain of ugly baby jesus and suffering a lower I.Q. as a result" The topic is to come up with an abbreviation in order to show how stupid the Americans are to abbreviate almost everything, even when the abbreviation has more syllables than the word(s) being replaced

When George R.R. Martin came up originally in science fiction in the early 70s, Gardner Dozois called him (cheerfully) George Railroad Martin.

Dean:

WWW, obvs. Or was that the Brits? The Swiss? Anyway, Americans per se don't abbreviate everything. Professionals of all nationalities do, and it's purely to protect their territory. I know. I'm a librarian.

King Dean:

i took a quick nibble of jesus's brain
but almost immediately my own began to drain
i was somewhat distracted by the baby's cries
then i tried to focus and realized
the bastard's father had this planned all along
and now the effect was becoming very strong
he had known in the future we'd eat his son's head
after a guy in a dress told us it was bread
the only way we would believe this nonsense
is the constant supression of our own intelligence
