Dean, we ate there a few years ago, it was filthy and roaches crawled across our pancakes! Not kidding!

Laura L:

Take a look at that Connie Francis site--there are a couple mentions of Tony F. being her b.f. and performing at her shows 2010.

Michael, The Apple Pan is great. Still family owned, I think.

Dean:

Gack. I used to go there, mid-'70s, with high school buddies after we'd make a run to downtown's flower market and deliver the flowers to Culver City. We'd return via downtown, grab breakfast at the Pantry, and head to school by 8:00 a.m.

Drove past Apple Pan zillions of times and yet NEVER WENT.

Likely THIS Tony Ferretti?: www.styleentertainment.net...

I wonder if he could've been the opener I saw for Elvis Presley in 1969. But I remember only the 2 pantomimists.

Robert: YES, that's Sabu.

Dean:

Damn, Phillipe's mustard is amazing. Gimme a lamb dip with blue cheese, lemonade and a paper straw that won't last.

For martinis--and we've been here before, geezerette--Musso & Frank.
