Hey folks, Thanks Stuntz--a good pal of mine was kind enough to archive that opener which was recorded live at FMU on Jonesville Station. You can find it on the archives at www.wfmu.org...

Good Morning, Mayor of Mayors!!!!!!
We got some traffic and some weather.
Traffic- Big mess on the BQE by the Kosciuszko Bridge.
There's a mess on the LIE, of course.
There was a jack-knifed trailer on 95 South around Exit 72 on the Jersey Side.
Weather- Wet, and that's gonna make more traffic messes.
There are some trains messed up too.
I suggest you take the day off and drink heavily.
And smoke'em if you got'em!
Have a happy day!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Mayor and fellow IBJ.
My favorite moment of this whole audition period is when Jonsey went from a Tony Bennett song to Led Zeppelins Moby Dick as only Jonsey could or would!

How's come I've never heard this nice Blondie song before? It's so good. Is it off their new album?
Avatar Wake Supporter Hellraiser 2024 Swag For Life Member 7:30am

Ken--nope, ancient--Parallel Lines IIRC.
Avatar 7:31am
Wild Neil:

@Ken-its from 1978's Parallel Lines...I think Robert Fripp played some on this album too.
  7:32am
Mandy:

@Threemoons I think 287 is probably the worst road. It has those wide open lanes that make people fly at 80+ mph and when there is a crash it's a crazy flipped over firey explosion and there's no off ramps to escape if youre stuck in the traffic.
  7:34am
Jonesey:

Yes it is Parallel Lines, first single off of it if I am not mistaken.

@Jonesey = I remember Don Kirshner's rock concert being a kid as it was the only place else I knew of to see concerts and I believe music videos at the end of the show. And I remember, also, getting the Album Jazz by Queen and being like 9 years old and and opening the album and viewing the inside picture sleeve & seeing the naked bicycle race picture and being like hmmmmm...what's this here? Lol. And yes...Debbie Harry was my very first crush...dang she a beauty to behold. Love her voice also. Then in my area it was wrko am radio in the Boston area, later wcoz Fm and then of course the Legendary Wbcn!.
