Q ? : Were they aware across the Atlantic of ArthurLee & Love as another 'integrated' band? ( - another band who, like them, triggered more than one happy place in the brain @ once - & yet w/ a distinctive sound.)

All those clips of the Equals live on the West German show "Beat Beat Beat" show them with three guitarists and no bass, but the records feature cool prominent bass lines. I wonder what the standard live set up was?
Avatar 3:47pm
Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@Mike Sin: We will try and address that! I believe they started out with 3 guitars and then switched over...but Derv can set us straight!
  3:50pm
?:

Good question! They've got such a Motowny back beat mainly because of those prominent bass lines.

Hendrix's white English bandmates spoke of their naivete & surprise @ racism in the USA of the 1960s. Hendrix though was American - & had some experience of the South.

How can you think anything Drumpf (the oldest Prez ever) has ever done is 'moving forward'? Biz fraud, bankruptcy, notorious Unreality TV - the worst kind of cheap narcissism - sexism & racial scapegoating, hatred & the most blatant piggish classism - disrespect for people & disregard for facts @ every single opportunity? Classic Fascistic Nationalism - & embrace of fellow Bullyboys worldwide.
