Hardly anybody ever does this because nobody understand what is or isn't a pirate or licensed or whatever. I'm not against 'em... as long as they don't mess w/WFMU! As soon as they come after WFMU's airspace, the gig is up! Give the bastards no quarter! consumercomplaints.fcc.gov...

Of course, if anti-govt. types keep getting elected and destroying govt. from within, while radio equipment keeps getting cheaper and pirates keep popping up, maybe we will end up in a wild west libertarian radio dystopia, and legit stations will have to pool resources & hire mafia types or thugs to go out w/baseball bats & find pirates' transmitters, etc. Scary.

I listen to WFMU on what you call old fashioned devices, both in my home and in my 20 year old car when I drive upstate to the Catskills. I am not happy that WFMU does not seem committed to maintaining its airwaves.
