...on my END - i don't have toes on my hand, although there might have been some inbreeding in my family.

Eep! I hate those kind of days. Luckily, the beautiful sun comes up each morning and we can all start afresh.

Hi all. Nothing desperate to report. The universe just looks different from here.

Did you just find out you're going to be a Mommy or something? Anyway, thanks again for including the record dates when available.

No mini Beckys on the horizon. Except for, you know, other people having children named Becky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:18pm

Checking in to the honk. Sounds good.

So you didn't find your robot in bed with your milkman, or your dog in bed with the neighbor's cat? (And are there C&W songs about either of those?) Just kidding, I'll stop now.

jon:

hi becky. great show again. always happy to hear marty robbins played too
Avatar 8:24pm

The Stompin Tom Connors tune kicked ass!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm
Becky:

@ike I'd pay to hear the robot one.

On an entirely different note, "Watergate Love Affair" is the best song title I've seen on FMU playlists all month, and "you wiretapped my mind" (?) one of the best lyrics.
  8:25pm
JakeGould:

Are there any honky tonk songs about finding a family of 4-5 raccoons near your recycling when you live in the city? Asking for a friend.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm
Becky:

@Jake I don't know, but that happened to me when I lived in Austin. Only two though. They were the size of bears.
  8:27pm
JakeGould:

@Becky: I had a mom, pop and 3 little raccoons a few nights back in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Makes no sense! Freaked the shit out of the neighborhood stray cats.
  8:27pm
P-90:

@ike/Becky: yup, the robot /milkman song is a real winner. Possible Ray Stevens number.
Avatar 8:30pm
Bronwyn Bishop:

I want to hug Bud's steel guitar until it stops crying, poor little thing

P-90:

And now I'm genuinely curious about just how many ballads have been written about Buford Pusser.

Mailman Tom:

A few days ago, I saw a coyote crossing the street in broad daylight here in Norwalk, CT. Spotted one for the first time and I was thrilled by the sight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:35pm
Becky:

@Mailman Tom: Was he chasing a roadrunner?
  8:35pm
JakeGould:

@MailmainTom: I was kind of happy to see the raccoons at night. But still… An odd sight to see in Brooklyn. Must be rough to be a street cat dealing with raccoons.
Avatar 8:37pm
Bronwyn Bishop:

I played this on my college radio station once! Mostly to please my dad who is a truck driver but not a son of a gun.
  8:39pm
P-90:

Used to see coyotes often and even a Grey Wolf or two in the Hollywood Hills. And Central Park is full of huge raccoons, totally not shy around people, they'll check the garbage cans in broad daylight, expecting any bystanders to just mind their own business.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm
dale:

we lost three cats in the last 6 months and they are buried in the backyard. couple of nights ago something dug them all up and absconded with all but a few bones. it was horrifying - i blame a raccoon. i have no idea what else it could be.
