Hi Hi HI everyone!

Jesse, you're louder then Doug., and GTDS stream is about 20% louder then the WFMU standard stream. But the music is at the perfect volume. I guess, slightly turn down the volume of the mic?
Avatar 7:05pm
northguineahills:

I'll get 20 minutes of Kaminsky Kamoutsky before 'my roommate' comes home and I should vamoose rather then exchange words...
Avatar 7:07pm
Jesse K:

Hi Northguineahills, I always thought I was quieter than Doug for some reason, though I knew the stream was louder than the main stem
Avatar 7:09pm
northguineahills:

Usually, you are quieter, today, the volume boomed w/ your voice. Sound on the fly is always a curious and interesting endeavor. Keep playing the tunes!.

Doug Schulkind:

@Jesse and NGH
I was playing a number of low-bitrate MP3s with little compression. That may have been part of the story.
Avatar 7:14pm
Jesse K:

Also, I'm live in a kind of unfamiliar setup so I may have boomed in to start because overcompensating and maybe the miller highlife
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm
Doug Schulkind:

Never stop booming, Jesse.

*Finishes up a Coors Banquet*, what have I've done to my liver and taste buds! (ok, the apv is low, but it's crappy beer)

I'm thinking, "This sounds like one of those bands that sounds like DAF." I was kinda right.
Avatar 7:41pm
Jesse K:

Come to think of it...
Avatar 7:42pm
Jesse K:

They kind of do
  7:46pm
Dean:

Yes, *this* is a band that sounds like those bands that sound like DAF, for sure.
Avatar 7:47pm
northguineahills:

Ok, I gotta go, thanks Jesse!

It's a collaborative show tonight, I'm trading tracks with lots of different people at a gallery closing reception

Alex In Illinois:

In which city?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:01pm
coelacanth:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:04pm

it's probably worthy of opening a beer, no?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:05pm

Gallery closing, beer opening
Avatar 9:05pm
Jesse K:

We're in Hyde Park, in Boston and I'd say yes definitely open a beer!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07pm
coelacanth:

i'm sorry the gallery's closing, even though i'd never heard of it; and beer's already open!
Avatar 9:08pm
Jesse K:

Fortunately it's just the closing of the show and not the gallery!
Avatar 9:08pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm
coelacanth:

i've got some catching up to do! (though my stomach's fairly empty so it shouldn't take long.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm
Ike:

No apostrophe in High Lifes. Not sure if it's two words or one but I'm sure there's no apostrophe. This has been your pain-in-the-ass pedantic proofreader comment for today.
Avatar 9:30pm
Jesse K:

They're very possessive of me though
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:32pm
Doug Schulkind:

Give the Drummer Radio has a stranglehold on the pain-in-the-ass pedantic proofreader demographic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02pm
coelacanth:

Thank you Jesse and Jesse's comrades! Great show!
