Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from June 3, 2016 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Not too hoppy? I love traditional IPAs, but I'm a little gun-shy of some of the new fashion brews.

Say, whatever became of the live FMU beer tastings?
Avatar 12:45pm
Chris from DC:

The saison with Brett sounds promising.
Avatar 12:53pm

i vote saisons as well. Ommegang's Hennipin is particularly great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm
chris:

i haven't met an ipa that was too hoppy for me, yet... what i don't like is how much alkeeehol is in most of the good beers these days... means i have to stop drinking before my fill of the flavors is sated...

steve, is that the doepfer, by any chance?
Avatar 2:23pm
sphere:

Looks like that instrument is from Trautoniks:

www.trautoniks.com...
Avatar 2:24pm
steve:

no the Doepfer stuff is very reasonably priced. the absurdly expensive one is by Trautoniks and is less "hey here's a fun ribbon controller" like the Doepfer ribbon and more an actual replica of the Trautonium inside and out. there's an good review in SoundOnSound - most interesting, i think it said you have to constantly clean the hand grease off the thing even if you wash your hands beforehand.
Avatar 2:26pm
Bryce:

thanks, guys!

wow, that is bananas. those manuals were notoriously fragile. sala had to constantly fix his, even when performing.
Avatar 2:31pm

you can make a fun DIY one with a guitar string and either pencil lead or certain old vhs tapes that are resistive for some reason
