Good Evening, James! Yes the countdown has begun.

I know at least one other teacher who is particularly waiting for that final bell. I think her 2015–16 academic year was more challenging than past ones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10pm
KimSorise:

It has been a good year overall. It has gone quickly, but it has been non-stop. I took on an extra class due to the size of our freshman class - so with 6 preps instead of 5, I am working later and at home more often. But all good.

listener james from westwood:

Doubly grateful we all have you on Mondays, then, with that heavier schedule!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm

Welcome RedKayak and thanks for speaking up DS. Sure to be an excellent show UM - how's the 'maters?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:32pm
Uncle Michael:

Eight days in, some are looking nice unless it gets sunny, then they look a little wilty. Not sure why...others aren't behaving that way. The soil is plenty moist, they shouldn't droop in the very moderate heat.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33pm
listener james from westwood:

Gil! And Brian!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm
KimSorise:

It usually take about 10 days for them to get fully established in new dirt
Avatar 8:38pm
redkayak:

Home grown tomatoes? I'm a big fan!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38pm
Uncle Michael:

Yeah, I still get panicky when they droop.
Avatar 8:39pm
redkayak:

......although we have not put any in yet. Still kinda chilly around here....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm
listener james from westwood:

NJ had frost last night in a lot of spots. Touch-and-go times for moving sprouts into the outdoors round here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
Uncle Michael:

I like to grow my table tomatoes. For gazpacho I go to the farmer's market. I'll go through 75 pounds of tomatoes in a season making that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
listener james from westwood:

Farmers markets are also sometimes good for snagging "ugly" veggies that would be rejected by supermarket buyers but that are perfectly edible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm
coelacanth:

this reminds me of an Allman bros. band song, but i can't think of the name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm
coelacanth:

"dreams"...that excellent Jerry Moore song reminds me of dreams - also excellent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:01pm
KimSorise:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:01pm
coelacanth:
