	8:15am fred: re: Vocaloid, I was told that some improvements they made to the technology were nixed because by now some glitches have become part of the voices' identity. Sounds like a convenient cop-out, but it's just dumb enough to be true

	8:32am fred: Take it with a generous helping of salt though: I often get asked at work to take listening tests with instructions to "ignore synthesis artifacts", and what those are is only obvious to other researchers
