Hi, Christina. Are you wearing a regular Haz-mat suit or one adorned with the Woof-Moo logo?
  12:10am
Sarah B:

YAY! I love you!

JakeGould:

Damn this set is making me feel good after a stressful weekend.

Wow. Suddenly I want to have a romantic relationship with tabasco sauce.

"Horror Asparagus Stories" sounds like it would be the name of a song by The Misfoods.

Fuzzy bunnies and little chicks have a better time on Easter than the lamb that gets eaten at dinner.

Rabbits and rodents need to chew because their gnarling teeth never stop growing. So if they didn’t chew they’d have some ridiculously long tooth thing happening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Well, this rabbit did not have a good time, either. www.nbclosangeles.com...

Oh, and I had a mean co-worker—among other mean co-workers—who found out a new hire had a rabbit. He plain faced said, “What the hell do you do with that thing? Spoon with it?”

@JakeGould - I'd probably reply something like, "What are you doing with your basketball bets -- paying off a leg-breaker?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32am

Big Eyes yes.

@PSS: Given this place and it’s people, you might be right on the nose…
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39am

I used to get an SF zine that was named "Bunnies, Zucchinis, and Sweet Basil". No idea why it was called that, but Easter reminds me of it.
  1:41am
JakeGould:

@PSS: You know zines are kind of coming back since websites are getting to be too expensive to run? Seriously.

Will check that out. But this video of a cat baffled by where the squirrel went is my new favorite thing.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49am

@pss - I've had that deer video running in a window on my screen all weekend. It met up head-on with a train a couple hours ago.

the hoof sounds are going well with this track

@Jake - That's kind of hard to believe. Print is probably cheaper than it was during the heyday of the paper era, but postage is through the ceiling.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:51am
pacific standard simon:

@Ken - I know, watched it for several hours last night, with FMU in the background.

Avatar 2:00am
BadGuyZero:

Hello, Christina!
  2:02am
JakeGould:

@PSS: Somewhat. Especially since the USPS got rid of “printed matter” as a type of mailing and “sea mail” is no longer an overseas option. But from what I have seen it works like this: Somebody has a social media presence, it grows, they have a “thing” and then—like maybe once a year—the push out a zine. It’s kind of like the record revival: It’s not the same as it once was, but it’s become a niche/boutique ecosystem in and of itself.

Also, this show has been quite good!

Have you ever watched the trailers for Alfred Hitchcock flicks? The ones from the 1960s are terrific. He teases the movies in a manner similar to his bits on "Alfred Hitchcock Presents."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09am

There's this: efanzines.com
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13am

OK, this is way better than the original.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22am

@BadGuyZero - A lot of that stuff -- and all the introductions for "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" -- were written by this guy: en.wikipedia.org...

Regain Willpower whenever someone does something stupid, just like you predicted. You must predict it either out loud to the other characters or in private to the Storyteller.

@pacific standard simon: Thank you for passing that info along. I didn't previously know about Allardice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38am
pacific standard simon:

@BGZ - You're welcome. I keep looking for more information about Allardice, but I'm having trouble finding much, and I suspect that he might have been gay and heavily closeted.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43am
pacific standard simon:

BTW, the stuff on the web that implies that the Alfred Hitchcock show ended BECAUSE he died is wrong -- he died AFTER the show ended.
Avatar 2:47am

He made four movies after the TV show ended.

This sure sounds like a bootleg of an early Frank Zappa composition...

Hi, Christina! You did a fantastic job tonight.....and I hope you have a wonderful week.
Avatar 3:01am
BadGuyZero:

Zappa was greatly influenced by Varese. If I recall correctly Varese's "Ionisation" - a piece for thirteen percussionists - was the first record that Zappa ever bought.
