Yes, the Drummer page needs a bulletins corner, or some such. Hard to find who's filling in where.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 12:06pm

There's an overall-station upcoming fill-ins page, if that helps: wfmu.org...

Thaks, James. How did you find it? I don't see it on the re-mangled main page.

This new PJ sounds kinda Kate-like, especially the backing vocals
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 12:11pm
listener james from westwood:

How do, UM and all!
The fill-in action continues after Julie with Ted Barron in for Matt!
βrian: I may have bookmarked it before the redesign. Another useful page that got lost in the woods is the full list of current and former DJs. Good when I go hunting for archives but not anywhere findable.

I've listened to this PJ song several times. I usually don't pay much attn to lyrics, but... woah. Startling.
  12:14pm

It seems to be about missing and/or murdered children. I like how the music is inappropriately jaunty.

Maybe, @Julie. I love her early stuff and I love that new song, but her last couple of albums mostly haven't grabbed me.

GIVE THE DRUMMER RADIO PROGRAMMING ALERT...
That devil of the airwaves the TED BARON will be filling in for Matt Fiveash, coming up in an hour, here on the Drummer Stream.

Ted hasn't activated his playlist for the show, but it will be at this link: wfmu.org...

ALSO, PLEASE BE ADVISED:
There will be no Give the Drummer Some show on the stream tomorrow morning. I am dealing with an ongoing family crisis that is preventing me from hitting the airwaves tomorrow. Believe, there is NOTHING I would rather be doing.

Uncle Michael and Hinky Dinky Time will join you on the stream at Noon (ET) tomorrow for your regularly scheduled 3-hour romp through the wonderful sound of sound.

Julie, I miss you all, too. It was lovely seeing so many people this past weekend. If I didn't love VT so much (and was so sick of urban living), I'd still be there. But, I'll visit soon! xoxo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm

Doug, you're welcome, times two. I'm happy I could help the station, and DJ Casequarter. Nobody should do a marathon show alone! And since I've heard marathon shows once or twice, I knew enough of the spiel. haha

Anyone out there remember the benefit concert Bettie Serveert played for WFMU. It was the first official performance at the new Knitting Factory after it moved from Houston Steet to SOHO. That show was notable because Knitting Factory owner Michael Dorf took months to hand over to WFMU the cash from the benefit. It was very very ugly.
