Yes, we should. No, we shouldn't.

Greg from ZONE 5:

Happy New Year, Irwin! Way to kick it off. BA-NA-NA!!!
  3:06pm
Polyus:

At least this is just MES singing about a banana, not eating one.
  3:06pm
P-90:

Don't recognize the art on the playlist page, but the Bruegel influence is duly noted.
  3:08pm
P-90:

"peel session" mwah-ha-ha

Keep feet & hands inside of car, please.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm

P-90: Click on art to better recognize.
  3:13pm
P-90:

Aha, the art is a link to itself! Thank you Sir!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14pm
Irwin:

The art isn't depicted at the link, but the source is. You can probably find the complete work online.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm
Irwin:

And I have in fact been exploring the worlds of Bosch and Breughel lately. But that work is neither's (obviously).
Avatar 3:18pm
Wild Neil:

Irwin, Bosch did some REALLY trippy nightmarish stuff....
  3:20pm
P-90:

Now I'll have to grab some companions and go see this show. I can think of 7-8 people right of the top of my head who won't want to miss this. I see the original, iconic "Steeplechase Funny Face" is there too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm
Alison Porchnik:

About time, some Liz Phair. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm
Irwin:

Neil: Many works are erroneously attributed to Bosch. For centuries there have been forgeries, fakes, copycats, and remakes, to many of which were affixed his signature. Very few of his originals exist.
  3:28pm
Laura L:

Look, ma, no hands! Little chick didn't read the instructions.
Avatar 3:33pm
Grok-o-matic:

Man, Irwin. got your Tom Wilson comp disc form last year. So good. Amazing that he worked with some many great artists and such a variety. Some of the more popular stuff I had heard before, but there was definitely some more stuff I hadn't that was great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm
Irwin:

Surely you will all LOVE the next song!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm
Alison Porchnik:

Nice find!
  3:36pm
Tommy:

NO NO NO !!
  3:36pm
Dean:

"Beating around the Bush." Good pun there, Mitch.
  3:37pm
Dean:

He'll do our country, alright!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm
Greg from ZONE 5:

This is the greatest, most classy song that I have ever heard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm
Irwin:

Here in the studio, I'm coughing blood from laughing so hard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm
Planet Tyler:

Ken is going to be jealous - wasnt he trying all morning to find a Trump song?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm

CD Baby is the new Song Poem scene.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm
Alison Porchnik:

Careful, we've got 10 more months to go! You've got to pace your blood loss.
  3:39pm
Dean:

Is this the same Mitchell Stone who has the world's largest collection of Amon Duul records?
  3:39pm
Ike:

Thank you, Irwin. Thank you. This is so classy.
  3:39pm
Laura L:

Irwin, were you there when Sport Murphy said Trump's hair looks like cotton candy sprayed with urine?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm
Greg from ZONE 5:

MAKE ZONE 5 GREAT AGAIN
  3:40pm
Dean:

Charles Pierce's epithet for DT is "vulgar talking yam."
  3:40pm
P-90:

There you go: Trump's whole campaign could be seen as a akin to one of Bosch or Bruegel's hellish, apocalyptic panoramas.
  3:42pm
P-90:

Yep, Irwin "trumped" Ken.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44pm
Planet Tyler:

Nice follow up to the Trump song
Avatar 3:45pm
B Uno-Air Logic:

Irwin, figured I would personally thank you here for purchasing my recent solo demo collection from Bandcamp. That was an insanely surreal moment for me. (Why pay for my shite music?) Thanks again - it means more than you might think. Great show so far.

Bread Cheese?
  4:43pm

(Buzzer) The answer is Bluebonnet Margarine.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm
Irwin:

AP is correct. Should have looked it up but took a wrong turn on the innerwebs and ended up in Etsy Lane. You can't back out of Etsy; you have to go all the way around the back and circle out the other side.
  4:55pm
Ryab:

This, as usual, but in particular, has made me intensely pensive about my life.
  5:10pm

This is a wonderful version of Afro-Blue.

Off The Charts was the surprise fun documentary of the year for me. My 1st exposure to Rodd Keith and others.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm
cosmic matrix:

oooooo i didn't know about the doc!
Avatar 5:29pm
Carmichael:

I saw it on Netflix. Might be out there on YouTube also.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32pm
Irwin:

The doc is mediocre. For one, there's no Phil Milstein. Secondly, it follows the career of a guy named Gary Forney who otherwise appears nowhere in the song-poem canon. Caveat viewer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32pm
Alison Porchnik:

This is a great cover.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm
Irwin:

Whose song is this?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:35pm
Alison Porchnik:

TLC
  5:46pm

Rodd Keith is Ellery Eskelin's father.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm
Irwin:

As I mentioned!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:54pm
Irwin:

Ellery compiled one of the S-P anthologies.
  5:59pm
Laura L:

Thanks, Irwin, nice show.
  5:59pm
spodiodi:

Irwin FTW!
  6:02pm
Dean:

Spent some quality time last weekend listening to Ellery Eskelin. I once attended a concert of his at a club in West Hollywood. I sat at a table where I was joined by a girl who looked to be about 8 years old. She told me she was there to hear her uncle Ellery.
