But it's Halah not Ghost Highway, no?

Hi Julie. New to your show: I'm hooked!
Avatar 11:24pm

Ah, love this Mazzy Star song in particular. Does this remind anyone else of Lou Reed?

You're on a roll. Even the Doors couldn't ruin this set. Even Billy Joel.
Avatar 11:26pm
Matt from Springfield:

That's cooh, John! Welcome!
(Interestingly Julie has picked up some more fans since going off the sched, earlier times for fill-ins have exposed more people to this show than the late late slot she was always in before).

Julie:

haha thanks Joshua!

@Julie: I've said it before, that's the price of fame--the earlier you're on Air, the more obnoxious people are calling you on the studio phone!
Avatar 🦇 11:28pm
Julie:

it's odd, usually I get the crazy drunks at 3am. She was calling and raving about Mac before, then she sang at me, now she's yelling at me for not playing I'm afraid of americans (which is mostly because I have another bowie set aside)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28pm

true Matt. i'm yer proof...which is ironic, considering i'm awake most of the night every night.

In my opinion it is criminal that Dark Night of the Soul is not on our schedule of regular shows any longer.

What in the hell is wrong with station manager ken? I assume it is he.

Avatar 11:32pm

@P-90: I couldn't - I still hold out hope that it's "Listener David" asking how Bronwyn is doing, or Jimmy from Kearny singing a traditional Irish ballad, or even a reemergence of "Spike"! I guess I'm hooked (on a phone line).

This song aways reminds me of Damone’s 5 point plan. “Put on side 1 of Led Zeppelin IV…” Cut away to them driving in a car listening to “Kashmir” instead. youtu.be...
