I just finished reading a pretty great Halloweeny novel by William Hjortsberg: Nevermore. Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle try to solve the mystery of a killer who replicates the murders in the fiction of Edgar Allen Poe. Recommended.

@Therese: I believe that is correct. I saw Misfits in 1996. Michael Graves was doing vocals. It was a pretty big deal that they were actually getting to use the Misfits name without Glenn being part of the band.
