Hiya! I hope you survived your holiday weekend with all your fingers intact.

@BGZ: I found a dud M60 on the ground today. Contemplated exploding it until I realized that M60s aren’t fun, they just make a BANG and maybe blow off fingers. So opened it and shook the gunpowder into the sewer… Now if I found a pack of bottle rockets or a roman candle… Boy howdy!

I'd like to think that even if I hadn't heard this version of "Dear Prudence" first, I'd still recognize that it's superior to the original.

In terms of Mr. Hubbard & the tech, I realized that maybe the main reason I've ever mentioned it is that I have been disseminating the tech, as I was brainwashed to do. I always say "The tech says..."

It makes me sad

What a weird thing to realize
  12:40am
JakeGould:

@IXKey: When you act in a dichotomy over something you are often still reacting to the same thing… Just stretching another muscle… So if you realize that, then you don’t have to stretch either muscle. or some nonsense like that.

Social concept is 'negative star.' Someone you don't like but can't stop talking about how much you don't like them. Energy drain. Advice: stop.

I'm acquainted w/that gentleman, @Jake, and we share tips. He has a much better location than I do for pirate scanning (near Bklyn College, so basically right in the heart of the Brooklyn pirate whirlpool).

I had "The Muppet Movie" soundtrack on 8-track when I was a kid. We didn't have anything that played 8-tracks in the house so I would sit in our Datsun and listen to it.
Avatar 2:58am

We had some weird 8-track that also had a citizens band radio. My parents had the CB antenna removed when we got the car because they were afraid my brother and I would hear naughty words.

Hi Therese! Sorry I forgot to stop by earlier, but this was a wonderful show, as is the usual. I really do hope you enjoy your beach vacation, and that all goes well! (And don't worry, we'll definitely be looking forward to Christina's first show next week!). =D

Best of luck to ya, and we'll miss you bunches. =)
