  12:19am
cheri:

greetings rich, how's it going?
  12:19am
JakeGould:

Rich! Nice visuals. Writing while I am listening as well.
  12:21am
rich:

hello cheri and jake. things are good. what you writing jake?
  12:25am
Listener Robert:

Would it be OK if I wrote some "mean stuff" here -- statement of opinion, not about this show but the previous one -- that someone might take as discouraging words? But enough not to make the sky cloudy all day?
  12:27am
rich:

sorry robert no negative statements about other shows
  12:28am
Listener Robert:

OK, point taken.
  12:33am
cheri:

sorry rich, but I have to be checking out now. goodnight all! see you soon!
  12:37am
JakeGould:

@ListenerRobert: On a positive note, I respect you for actually asking if you could do that. But seriously, if you want to complain, please start your own blog.

P-90:

Hi Rich, Jake, Gang. Got back a little while ago from Monty Hall, much of what I missed from Barcelona won't be archived, I'm afraid. Enjoying the tuneage and the Duda Lanna art. And some air conditioning, the subway already has that summer swelter going...
  12:41am
JakeGould:

@P-90: You mean that sweaty smell of humanity, grease and garbage? Last week an old lady was on the subway and smelled like the most mothballs one could have.
  12:42am
JakeGould:

Her smell was a bizarrely refreshing break form the sweaty smell of humanity, grease and garbage that permeated the system.

@Jake - I hope she didn't rest her head up against your hand.
  12:50am
rich:

were there any moths on the train?
  12:52am
JakeGould:

@Ken: Now that’s a callback! No moths on the train so she did her job.
  12:55am
cheri:

have a great week all!

Good night, George.
  1:07am
JakeGould:

@Ike: A few days back you posted a comment to me about desktop PCs. What’s up? Mainly a Mac person and my PC experience has been in “enterprise” environments where off-the-shelf systems were routinely wiped out and reimaged per client/corporate needs.

Hello all! I've had a large moth in my office for the past couple days. Where's that mothball lady when you need her?
  1:19am
JakeGould:

@rw: I should have gotten her number.
  1:24am
rw:

Haha! Maybe if you see her again...

@Jake, never mind, I gots it all straightened out now. Thanks. @Siggi, we love you, but go home, you're drunk. And go easier on the vodka! I mean, wow.
  1:27am
P-90:

Are we talking about the E train Mothball Lady or the 4-5-6 Lexington line Mothball woman? Or is there a new mothball chick in town?
  1:28am
Sigurður:

  1:28am
JakeGould:

@Ike: Well, what I was going to suggest checking out the Lower East Side Ecology Center’s Brooklyn warehouse on President Street near Nevins Street. They are a great place to donate e-waste to, but they also sell parts, refurbished systems and tons of other D.I.Y.er stuff for dirt cheap. They even have CDs and video games.

JakeGould:

I like it when people get drunk, feel freedom and the first/only thing they can thing to do is just curse at random people. Way to embrace your freedom.
  2:23am
rw:

Rich, I haven't perused the summer schedule yet. Hopefully you'll be here. ISC has become a personal favorite. Thanks and have a good week! Later y'all!
  2:24am
JakeGould:

Is this rollerskating music? Ice skating music? Carousel music?
  2:25am
JakeGould:

@rw: Much like Christmas decorations on a neighbor’s lawn, the Inflatable Squirrel Carcass will be here in the summer. wfmu.org...

Oh, cool. D. Blumin gets an extra hour. Irene Trudel is still back to back w/ Wm. Berger though. That seems like an odd juxtaposition to me. Okay, I'm really out now. Later!
