More seriously, I'd say a birth date for spirits should be time of bottling, but it's when it stops aging, so it's kind of a death. But distilling time seems just wrong. Wine is different, obviously

I actually have that Jack Tamul LP. It's pretty good. In college, my friend and I tracked him down, and he pretty much disavowed his electro-acoustic music and only did cheesy wedding djing. (yes, I grew up in Jacksonville).
