A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

@RevRab: out and about since last comment. Sure, Buddhist meditator, but Ganesha and Kali both there as well. Tibetan Buddhism incorporates animist elements, and, well, Hinduism has been around for ~4,000 years, so good chance some influence there, as well. Might just be pastiche, you know?

@Polyus, I got outvoted years ago on listening to FMU in my workplace. From then on it was local Top 40 radio and the same fucking Ace of Base tune 6 times in 8 hours. Headphones at subsequent workplaces, and freelancing from home now, have kept me out of jail.

@Adrian - haha! I would have been in the same state, I think. Did lots of lonely girl drawings of him. I am sure if I met him he would have rolled his eyes and walked away.

@james - earbuds here as well. The problem today is that having to put out other peoples' brush fires is causing me to miss the tunes.

There's an apartment complex next to me w/ a lot of children. In the summer, it will park there for 30 minutes at a time in the evenings driving everyone else on the block insane.
