Would it be possible to add a column in the track list that indicates what band/artist is being covered? That would save some web searching later on.

Okay, have managed to cut my DJ premium wish list to 43. Just a little bit more culling needed. I should be ready by October.

@Mary Wing - I think it was a one off thing...acoustic performance at a gallery...I think. I just took the order, I don't ask questions. Didn't even find out it was PJ Harvey til the next day when my tech came back and said he was pleasantly surprised that the gig was actually cool.

Kurt, I think it's just that often the tracks you play are 10-30 minutes long. If you have a mic break after the same number of tracks this week as a regular week, you end up talking more often.

When the Fudge track started, I first thought it was a slow psychedelic cover of "Pictures of Matchstick Men". The chord progression was similar.

Avatar 4:45pm

@ glenn - plus, Fudge was one of the earlier rock bands to have commercial success with a completely 're-imagined' cover version of a song. To Kurt's earlier comment on the Zep covers, I think they still ride the fumes of the re-invented cover version to this day. It's their 'thing'.

Ah, this Aztec Camera track and the earlier Bjork/PJ Harvey pairing on "Satisfaction" are two of my favorite cover versions of all time. Thanks, Kurt!
