Good morning Dr. Bombay and all Canucks and kanuckle-heads. Privileged to be onboard for one of these rare excursions into the FM radioverse. I rarely touch the stuff myself these days.

...LaVey, Electric Wizard & Bud Powell together is indeed a Knuckle Sandwich...like they say about Italian food : trouble is, two or three days later - yer just hungry again...

fred:

@ausmanx: I saw The Necks yesterday, in a church. In some spots the reverb would blend the piano notes together, making them sound closer to the sustained notes of an organ. I'm not sure the setting fits them that well, but they were good, as always

Cooh John:

Off to work. I'll be lurking in the audio decay.

Later Cooh John!

ausmanx:

hey, fred. they play such a variety of venues these days, i'm surprised they make most of them work. even outdoors in the sun they've been good, and i had little hope in the main concert hall at the Sydney Opera House, but even there... Chris is pretty fussy about the piano acoustics, so he may not have been happy, though they do play in Melbourne with a pipe organ...

So XYZ contains Ian Svenonius? I think that may be the first song he's ever made that I have actually liked.

@Polyus - It does contain Ian Svenonius

Yeah, about that cult holiday schedule. Shouldn't the Fez Festival PROCEED the Bivalve Bacchanal? Just thinking about *wink, wink* liability issues.
Thanks for this morning, Dave. Be well, and see ya next time.
