March 24, 2015: CRAIG SAFAN (The Last Starfighter / Wolfen / Corvette Summer)
Soundtrack composer Craig Safan joins host Devon E. Levins to discuss his career which began in the mid-1970's with indie action comedies such as Corvette Summer, Roller Boogie and The Great Smokey Roadblock before transitioning over to larger scale action, thriller, horror and science fiction films such as Wolfen, Remo Williams, Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and The Last Starfighter, the latter of which recently received a complete score release by Intrada Records. The two discuss these films as well as Craig's television work on Cheers, The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Crypt and The New Alfred Hitchcock Presents along with his unique mentorship experiences through his close friends' dads -- Ernest Gold, Elmer Bernstein and Fred Steiner.
