Up for grabs now - Tomaga LP and Beth Israel LP - just a $20 pledge gets you in the running - and your odds of winning are really good read night!

Mugsy:

Rob, Caryn fell asleep on you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33am
Caryn:

Only for a bit! Gimme a break, I've had about 9 hours of sleep since the Marathon started!

Ike:

It's a wonder you're not in a coma, Caryn. I couldn't handle that myself. I'm going to pass out any minute now.
Avatar 3:35am
Mugsy:

I am joking with you Caryn. Great listener alert.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37am
Caryn:

I thought you were, Mugsy, but I don't want Rob to think I didn't like his show.

SeanG:

Play some Crass!
  3:40am
JakeGould:

@Ike: Back in the “salad days” of the dot-com-ish era, I managed to do some mega marathons of coding… 1995 or so… So it’s doable, but admirable… Still Caryn, you should get some sleep.
Avatar 3:40am
sinister dexter:

congratulations on realizing your dream Jonathan! ^_^
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42am
Caryn:

@JakeGould: Since I'll have to take a break from the Marathon next Friday and Saturday, I'll catch up on Zs then. Of course, if I start to completely go doolally, I'll rest earlier.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43am
Rob W:

On behalf of Jonathan, thank you sinstier dexter!
  3:44am
JakeGould:

@Caryn: Don’t want to pry about how you have a schedule like that, but I assume school or freelancing. Anyway, admire it but like I said… Rest is good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44am
Rob W:

Just a couple more minutes to get in the running for the Beth Israel or Tomaga LPs - we'd love to hear from you with a pledge!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46am
Caryn:

@JakeGould: unemployed, with some freelance gigs in there. I can send out applications any time of day, so the Marathon doesn't interfere with that.
  3:47am
JakeGould:

@Caryn: All good.

Any pledge of $75 or more gets you "Blurred and Obscured presents Sound Bites, Synthscapes and Field Recordings.
A collection of absurd movie and TV dialogue, short field recordings from the streets of NYC, and weird synth music"

The Machoman Randy Savage documentary and "They Live" are both great and in completely different ways: one quite heartbreaking, one pure entertainment. And both have deeper messages and lessons.

Okay kids, up for grabs now - legendary filmmaker John Carpenter's first NON-soundtrack album - and the renowned band Bardo Pond's "Peace on Venus" - get in the running with a pledge of 20 bucks or more!

Bardo Pond is epic

does anyone know why the Missouri state auditor killed himself? just wondering

Morning Jonathan and Rob. You should check out Giant Haystacks vs Big Daddy. Legendary British wrestling from the 70s. Loving the show as usual.
Avatar 4:17am
sinister dexter:

fucking love the John Carpenter
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18am
Rob W:

According to our sources, the Missouri state auditor was "outraged over what he saw as a whisper campaign about his religion" (kansascity.com) - although there had to to be more to his situation for that to actually sadly end as it did. Er - um - I hope for some unfathomable reason this inspires you to pledge!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19am
Rob W:

On behalf of Jonathan, thank you Bazinge, Sinister and Slugadist!
Avatar 4:20am
Hiram Mesa:

You pronounced my name incorrectly earlier during the show. Please try not to do that ever again. thanks!
  4:22am
JakeGould:

@RobW: The "more to that situation" always weirdos me. You heard about the Maraschino cherry guy in Red Hook who killed himself when they found his massive marihuana operation in the building's basement? I mean he would have bend busted, but why kill himself for that? Sad.
