I recommended Anne-Marie to the Field Mice (via a whimsical letter) when they were looking for a female singer back in 1990 or so. I was amazed when she got the job, and then her stagefright (and relationship with Bob) led to the breakup of the band. Oops...

I went to see School of Seven Bells in NYC a few years ago and got to the show late. I asked a girl if the band had played yet, she said ,"No I don't think so." I found out a few mins later they had already played and the girl was the lead singer.
