Oh yes, Rex, Bob Ridgely cut the wonderful "Wow, Wow, She Was A Mau-Mau" for Del-Fi, as well as that Halloween perennial "The Way Out Mummy." As to the voice-over business, a friend of mine ran a sound sweetening facility here in Los Angeles where both Ridgely and Ernie 'Ghoulardi' Anderson often worked. Ernie, according to my friend, was cranky and then some, nice to no one at all, sat outside in his limo until it was time to do his voicing. Bob R., on the other hand, was a joy to be around. Bob was also Ed McMahon to Woody Woodbury's Johnny on the latter's talk show circa '69-'70.
@Reeshard: That sorta explains the Bob Ridgley/Paul Thomas Anderson/Boogie Nights connection, seeing as P.T. is the Son of Ghoulardi.
