Live Performance by Pink Painful |
||||||||||
Post-punk/shoegaze duo Pink Painful meld a bit of New Order and The Cocteau Twins with touches of and Motorhead to create their slowdance sound. Monica Velasquez (Rexxy) and Ian Peksa (ex-Goodnight Darlings, Small Devices) blend bass with soaring, reverb-drenched vocals, meshed together with driving drums. Pink Painful calls Brooklyn their home, and they drove out to WFMU for a live performance. |

And while we're at it, did Kate's *first* concert ever get released on any video format?

- i have nothing against her. she seems like a good person; it's just that i think her music is just standard pop...nothing groundbreaking,like that of Robert Fripp.
( i know nothing of her acting career.)

It was also released as a single, so album info might not have come up automagically.

Yes, that's right. DAUGHTER. On 4AD. Eerily reminiscent. But nobody will believe me, not even the 4AD addicts here.

This is nice! As long as we're playing the "reminds of" game, this song has pleasant echoes of Donovan and Vashti to it.
