Highlights from Golden Fest 2014

Hear this show now: Pop-up listen Pop-up player! | Add or read comments

For the first two hours of the show we'll explore the music of multi-cultural France: Music by emigre artists living in France, and some cross-cultural collaborations by French artists with artists from other countries.

Then:
Next week Transpacific Sound Paradise returns to the biggest Balkan music and dance event of the year, Golden Fest (not to be confused with tomorrow night's globalFEST world music showcase!), for a live remote broadcast on Saturday night. In the last hour of tonight's show, we'll hear highlights from the 2014 Golden Fest (many of which you can download for free from the Free Music Archive).
