Oi Scott!
Bummed I missed this, but I couldn't go another fall without visiting the Pumpkin Blaze in Sleepy Hollow...

Hey Scott and everyone
what a wonderful show starter.

Hi Scott, sounds great! Glad to see you are staying put on the new schedule. Lots of traumatic changes this time! Of course there are many happy returns too, such as Inflatable Squirrel Carcass and Long Rally. (Hi @Faye, we loves ya too... but don't worry, I'm not going to get all weepy and hysterical on you, heh.) ;)

Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 4:06pm

@Cecile agreed v. strongly re: Lamin. Outstanding DJ. Not sure Billy Jam lives around here now (?) -- 3-hr. shows need a certain % of in-person presence, I think (?) (could be wrong).

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm
Michele:

Hey guys what's up?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:13pm
Guido from Cologne:

Ning Nong is good.
having Jeff Conklin on a regular basis is good.
Todd fits just perfect in his new saturday slot (if not "much too perfect" as Ike put it last Saturday). Departure of Keili really is leaving a void IMHO (dunno if the demanding Saturday slot broke the show's neck somehow). Decline of female-DJ-percentage as a whole could become an image problem for WFMU.

btw, Yair I'm sure you're responsible for hooking me up with that one!
Avatar 4:17pm
Cecile:

good job, Yair!
Avatar 4:18pm
Yair Yona:

@Scott - makes sense :) it's considered to be the only 'real' prog album to come from Israel. It has a very interesting story, as it was written and recorded after the trauma the entire nation had in the 1973 war. There's a track called Heroica that suppose to emulate the feeling that a human being get when an aircraft is flying low above his head. This was the writer's experience at the time. very cool album and a strange Rickenbacker bass sound.
Avatar 4:19pm

wow, I'll have to look that one up.

Avatar 4:22pm

'Zingale' is a 70's slang for a joint, in Hebrew. The album was lost for years and years but was reissued in the 90s again
