Live performance by Mary Lattimore and Jeff Zeigler

After a long collaborative past, harpist Mary Lattimore and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Zeigler have just released "Slant of Light," a beautifully impressionistic set of improvisations. Lattimore’s elaborate melodies are meditatively enhanced by a lush compliment of Zeigler’s tonal beds of synthesizer and guitar. Mary Lattimore and Jeff Ziegler visited Irene's show for a live performance on WFMU

Oh, no getting sad everybody! Yes, I'm moving to Tuesday evenings at 9pm. I think I may take a little break from live music but never for long. And archives will always be available.

Good afternoon, Irene,
It's been a great ride, these last 20 + years: but, as always change is inevitable. You were my radio companion all those years, when Mondays were the last day of my 'weekend'...I'm retired now, so I'll always be able to tune to the archives. Thank you, for sooo many treasured Monday afternoons.

25 yrs ago today we were all sitting around the Tactical Fusion Center in Boerfink Mountain Kaserne, West Germany, twiddling our thumbs wondering what to do. Our top secret mission? Monitoring the Berlin Wall.
