...interesting: I say I split w/ Top40 in the mid70s w/ The Ramones (Seymour Stein: 'I heard Beach Boys in them!') - which is too simple to be quite right anyhow
- but even *some* of these - the 'right' era (for me) - I'm thinking of less-known album tracks I prefer; taped a Hollies' comp. called 'Not the Hits Again!' - & that title's summed it up for me since (...altho Hollies hits are generally fine w/ me!)
...then there's Walkers & this Petula I don't know anyhow (course)...
