Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Thank you for checking out this playlist and for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show. I enjoyed putting it together for you. The interviews were recorded in Union Square Park in Manahttan the night beofre they were broadcast. I tried a new editing technique which was fun for me, and based my questions around the songs I selected to play this week. I had a good flea Monday in Brooklyn as my auto mechanic also has a cool mini-thrift store annex on his shop. I won't tell you whcih one because I have to get back there and pick up a few more before YOU get 'em. I was happy to find the Farquarh and the New Seekers "Blackberry Way," maybe a future CC7 selection? Not too soon to start thinking about it.

Well, I hope your summer is going swimmingly for you. I haven't had a cigarette in maybe 8-9 weeks?! It's hard on the weekends. Drink bone's connected to the smoke bone as they say. Sure am homesick for Western Iowa and would love to get back there. To any from that area who read this, I sure miss Audubon County and old friends. Much love.

FOr that matter, much love to you my friend, and I hope you'll tune in again. Tine for me to get some sleep. Always remember ... CPNYC

I went as fast as one guy said he was going (the fastest) w/in 6 months of getting my license when I was 16. After that, it was rare I would approach 100. Now, 85 is as about as fast I go when the speed limit is 75.

Hey Clay and Pigeonnaires!

Hi davex--what time of year is the Leipzig Goth festival? Julie and a guest mentioned that this morning.
Avatar 6:12pm
kat330:

There is also the fact I never owned a car that wasn't either an old beater or tiny compact, so speed isn't viable beyond 70.

I stumbled into a clickhole (not the onion) about the Leipzig Goth fest yesterday.

I could only tell about the most irresponsibe thing i did in car, that was my 20th birthday night, being the only guy with a licence, i was so pissed, i coudn't shift gears. My front-seat passenger had to do it.

Hey clay , I'm out on the Hudson on a booze cruise.

It wasn't Ralph Mace, V. Now I can't remember. I'll out it on the playlist.

Saturn is gorgeous, and very noble looking with those broad magnificent rings. Plus--it can be seen with the naked eye! After that you have to go farther and use more futuristic technology to spot planets.

I would answer Mick, but I have quite a bit of respect for Keith as well--if a large group I was with all answered "Mick", my support for the underdog would switch my answer to Keith.

Light sleepers are more likely to remember their dreams, since waking up causes your conscious mind (and longer term memory) to turn back on, storing the results of your very short term sleep memory. Deep sleepers like me hardly remember dreams because that unconscious memory is constantly erasing and writing over itself..
