@P-90 - Yes, the Patterson. I like it, myself, and you're never likely to get a better one, because of the sources that he had access to. I had the same blood drive experience, at a '70s Worldcon. Also, Bill Patterson inadvertently caused me and my wife to meet, and we used to play poker together, so I might be biased.
